About the Program

Most of us are infected with Cytomegalovirus for life with little consequence. For some, including people who are pregnant and those with weakened immune systems, the virus can be devastating.

Associate Professor of Health Sciences Tracy Rosebrock will discuss the work she is doing with undergraduate students to decipher why Cytomegalovirus causes disease and how public health messaging can be improved to reduce its impact.

Sponsored by the MacPháidín Library, this program is free and open to all. Light refreshments will be provided courtesy of the Office of Academic Affairs.
