CSC Grant/Scholarship Offers Minimum of $130,000 Over 4 Years

A Catholic college founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross (CSC) in 1948, Stonehill would like to help students at CSC high schools build on the rigorous academic standards they have already experienced and offer the opportunity to further their studies in a community where exceptional minds are fortified by strong character.
That’s why we provide an annual $7,500 Holy Cross Grant and a minimum of $25,000 (up to $35,000) in merit scholarship funding to all Congregation of Holy Cross high school graduates who are admitted to Stonehill and remain in good standing over their four years at the College.* Over the course of that time, this offers students and their families a total value of at least $130,000, with a potential value of up to $190,000.*
This enhanced financial commitment reinforces our recognition of the sacrifices families have made to provide their children a Holy Cross education and demonstrates the confidence we have in the formation they have received and their great potential for success at Stonehill.
No separate application is required unless need-based aid is sought.** All merit scholarships are renewable for up to three subsequent years as long as the recipient remains a full-time student, meets the required renewal grade point averages associated with their award and maintains an acceptable disciplinary record.

Application Fee Waiver
In addition, given our long history of working with CSC high school students and our desire to support their interest in attending Stonehill, we will be waiving our $60 application fee. Simply enter 1948, our founding year, in the fee waiver code section of the Stonehill College member screen on the Common Application.
No Separate Application Required
Upon admission to Stonehill College, all graduates of the following high schools are automatically awarded the Stonehill College Holy Cross Grant. A separate scholarship application is not required.

** Demonstrated financial need is determined by the College using the information provided through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To be eligible, all students must submit the FAFSA application and be eligible to receive Title IV funding from the federal government.
