Our move to NCAA Division I athletics reflects a culture that embraces the opportunity to rise to new levels of excellence.

It is a character trait that has inspired our recent advances in academics – including two new schools, new majors and new master’s degree programs. It is also a character trait we foster in our students to help them recognize and seize upon emerging opportunities throughout their lives.

Adaptability elevates our core strengths — exceptional academics, professional experiences and mentoring — and it empowers you to lead in ways authentic to who you are and what you value.

Building on a Proud History of Compassionate Scholar Athletes

Prior to our move to Division I, our student-athletes regularly earned the NCAA Division II Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence honoring institutions with an Academic Success Rate of at least 90 percent.

In addition, our athletic program’s positive influence has and will continue to extend well beyond the campus, as exemplified by our Team IMPACT partnerships, which support children facing serious illness through student-athlete mentorship.

On the field, in the community and in the classroom, our student-athletes and coaches demonstrate leadership and resiliency. Our community will continue to build on these traits and successes as we embark on this new journey together.
