Did you know you can make cellphone calls over Stonehill's Wi-Fi?  This lets you take advantage of hillspot to make calls in places where you may not otherwise have cell reception.

Wi-Fi Calling is a feature that most newer smartphones and carriers already provide, which allows you to make calls and send text messages from anywhere you have a Wi-Fi connection.

Here are the two most common ways to access Wi-Fi Calling:

  • iOS – Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling
  • Android – Settings > Advanced Calling

Wi-Fi Calling won't use up any of your mobile data, but it may still count against your talk minutes on your plan. Be sure to check your provider's website (T-MobileSprintAT&TVerizon) for carrier-specific details and additional setup instructions.
