Tamara Anderson – Chief Information Officer
Tammy provides the department with the vision and leadership needed to ensure the continued delivery of innovative technology services to students, faculty, and staff. She also oversees IT planning in support of Stonehill’s mission and goals, and collaborates with her four directors to foster a team approach to IT service delivery. Tammy joined Stonehill in 2008 with over 25 years of IT leadership experience at CCRI and Bridgewater State College. She earned a bachelor’s in math from Bridgewater and a master’s in business administration from the University of Massachusetts. Outside of work, she values time spent at home in Mansfield with her husband, Paul, and her daughters Kelsey, Kendra, and Kiel. She is an avid soccer player and fan and enjoys relaxing on the beach on Cape Cod.
Maureen Glynn- Office Manager
Maureen is responsible for managing the office functions of the department and for providing support to the Chief Information Officer and the four directors. She coordinates purchases, payments, and vendor agreements and manages the department’s budget. Maureen earned a bachelor’s degree from Stonehill. Outside of work her two major interests are landscape and interior design.
User Support Services Group
Janet Carpenter – User Support Specialist
Janet is a member of the Educational Technology and User Support Services group and is responsible for supporting frontline staff at the IT Service Desk while responding to and routing technical requests from students, faculty and staff. She has lived in Easton most of her life and has worked at Stonehill for more than 30 years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and computer information systems from Stonehill in 1992. In her spare time she enjoys golfing, reading, painting, camping and traveling to visit her son and his family in Los Angeles.
Peter Q. George – Senior Media Support Specialist
Peter is a member of the Educational Technology and User Support Services group and is responsible for providing support for technology in classrooms and for College events. Peter also maintains the digital signage system. He has provided engineering support to the College’s student run radio station, WSHL-FM, since 1983. Peter earned a bachelor’s degree in english from Bridgewater State College in 1984. He started his career in media services at Northeastern University and joined Stonehill in 1995. He is married, has two children and has been avid amateur “ham” radio operator for nearly 30 years.
Janice Harrison – Associate Director, Educational Technology Services
As Associate Director of Educational Technology Services, Jan oversees the development and provision of educational technology services and manages a team that supports faculty as they explore using new ideas, tools and media to their greatest benefit for student learning. She started her career at Texas Instruments as a product specialist and segued into teaching as the need grew for training in PC software applications. That role eventually brought her to Stonehill where she “became part of a remarkable community where teaching and learning is sine qua non.” Jan earned a master’s degree in communications management and a master’s in business administration. Jan spends her spare time golfing, hiking the Appalachian trails, kayaking, practicing yoga and reading.
John Kitson– Educational Technology Specialist
JP is a member of the Educational Technology and User Support Services group and is responsible for supporting video production, editing, storage and distribution to meet instructional and institutional needs. In this role JP helps students, faculty, and staff use educational technology systems.. JP also supports video production and streaming of Stonehill’s NCAA Athletics events. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Stonehill College and a master’s in communications management from Simmons College. Outside of work, JP enjoys volunteering as a Social Media Guru for SoxProspects.com and spending time with his wife, Allison and daughters, Charlotte and Caroline.
Robert Miquel - Desktop Support Specialist
Bobby is a member of the Educational Technology and User Support Services group and is responsible for assisting faculty and staff with their computers. He also builds and maintains the standard Windows images that are used on new computers. Bobby joined Stonehill in 2011. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Bridgewater State College in 2010. While enrolled at BSC he also worked in their IT department.
Ryan Miranda – Desktop Support Specialist
Ryan is member of the Educational Technology and User Support Services group and is responsible for assisting faculty and staff with their computers. He oversees the equipment loan program and provides support for various user services such as lecture capture and web conferencing. Ryan honed his technical skills and customer service etiquette while attending Bridgewater State University and working at their IT Help Desk. Ryan joined Stonehill in 2011. Outside of work, Ryan produces music under the pseudonym "Roburai". He enjoys having many creative outlets for his exuberant personality. Ryan is from the farm town of Rehoboth, MA.
Luke Newman – Associate Director, User Support Services
As an Associate Director in the Educational Technology and User Support Services group, Luke is responsible for developing and providing technology support services for the Stonehill community. In this role, he oversees the IT Service Desk, support for computers across campus, and training. He also coordinates the computer replacement process. Luke joined Stonehill College in 2002. Outside of work, Luke enjoys spending time with his family and participating in various sporting events.
John O’Donnell – Senior Educational Technology Specialist
John is a member of the Educational Technology and User Support Services group, and is responsible for providing advanced support for educational technology systems such as eLearn, web-conferencing, e-portfolio and learning analytics. John grew up in Brockton and earned a bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College.
Michael Pietrowski – Director of Media Technology Services
As a manager in the Educational Technology and User Support Services group, Mike is responsible for supporting media technology in classrooms and other spaces on campus used for learning and collaboration. He also provides audio and video expertise for a wide variety of college events. Mike joined Stonehill in 1998. He is a graduate of Cape Cod Regional Technical High School and studied Audio/Visual in the Electronics Department. Mike is a long-standing member of the Society of Motion Pictures and Television Engineers (SMPTE) and a member and Chairman (2013) of the School Committee of the Southern Regional Technical School District.
Joshua Rapoza - Senior User Support Specialist
Joshua is a member of the Educational Technology and User Support Services group and is responsible for managing content on the IT website, creating documentation and training videos, hosting technology training sessions, and supporting frontline staff and students at the IT Service Desk. Outside of work, Joshua enjoys reading, vegetarian cooking with his wife, and landscaping. He is a certified 200-hour yoga instructor and mindfulness practitioner and has offered yoga and mindfulness classes to the Stonehill community through HR. Joshua has an affinity for dapper dressing, as evidenced by his frequent sporting of pieces from his extensive bow tie collection.
George Tyrrell - Assistant Director of Media Technology Services
George is a member of the Educational Technology and User Support Services group and is responsible for coordinating installation of classroom technology and configuring and maintaining Extron controls. He also performs video recording and editing and provides support for various media technologies. George has a bachelor’s degree in physical science from Stonehill College and a master’s in education from Boston University. He taught high school for a year and then returned to work at Stonehill.
Network Services Group
Mark Tufts – Director of Network Services
Mark oversees the planning, installation, and maintenance of our telephone services, data networking, video distribution and communications wiring. He joined Stonehill in 2004 after working as an engineer for an IT integrator and a major manufacturer of voice and data equipment. Mark earned an associate’s in electronic engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s in business from Lesley University. When not at work, he enjoys coaching his sons’ baseball, basketball and soccer teams. Other interests include active involvement in his church, family time, mountain biking and staying physically fit.
Peppino Muraca – Senior Network Administrator
Pino is a member of the Network Services group and is responsible for installing and managing network electronics like switches and wireless access points. He also administers network services, including device registration, hillspot setup, and the wireless controllers. Pino joined Stonehill in 1999.
Ginny Murphy – Manager of Voice Communication Services
As a manager in the Network Services group, Ginny is responsible for supporting the campus telephone system, voicemail, our HillAlert emergency notification system, cellular telephone service, and 2-way radio support. Ginny also oversees all wiring projects for voice, data and video on campus.
Enterprise Application Services Group
David Doherty – Director of Enterprise Application Services
Dave oversees application maintenance, development, and upgrades for our enterprise information systems, including Banner. He also keeps track of trends in IT and higher education and tries to anticipate how the products will evolve in the coming years. Dave manages requests for application development, upgrades, patches, and new systems and integrates those requests into our increasingly complex ecosystem. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Bridgewater State College and has worked in higher education IT for almost 20 years. Dave joined Stonehill in 2010 and has been thrilled with the environment, the people, and the challenges.
Timothy Campbell – Manager of Enterprise Application Services
As a manager in the Enterprise Application Services group, Tim is responsible for coordinating development and maintenance of enterprise applications for systems such as Banner, Adirondack Housing and Parking, and the self-service applications integrated into the myHill portal. Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bridgewater State College. He has worked in IT roles since 2000 and at Stonehill since 2011. He is an avid exerciser and, during the lunch hour, you’ll find him over at the Ames Sports Complex rowing, biking, or otherwise exhausting himself. When not at work he’s with his wife and two rapidly aging kids, and spends Sundays playing electric and acoustic guitar in the music ministry he shares with his wife at the Catholic Center in Bridgewater, and leading the band at the Life Teen Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas.
Maura McConahay – Senior Systems Analyst
Maura is a member of the Enterprise Applications Services group and is responsible for supporting several applications including Banner Admissions, Relationship Management, and Document Management. She joined Stonehill in 2011. Prior to that, Maura held IT positions at Oracle Corporation, URI, and CCRI. Maura earned a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College, and master’s degrees in both business administration and information systems from the University of Colorado. Maura has a great interest in the world's arts and cultures and has traveled on all seven continents and visited over 60 countries. Maura also believes in the importance of volunteerism in her local community having served on the board of directors of a variety of organizations including the Denver Asian Cultural Center, the Junior League of Rhode Island and the Pocatello Arts Council.
Linda McNeilly – Principal Systems Analyst
Linda is a member of the Enterprise Application Services group and is responsible for supporting several applications including Banner Student and Cognos Framework Manager. She also creates complex reports and custom applications, including merit point tracking, study abroad and domestic internship applications. Linda’s Oracle development experience spans a career that included roles in IT departments at CCRI and Dunkin Brands, Inc. Linda earned a bachelor’s in mathematics from Bridgewater State University.
Robert Morgan – Manager of Database Services
As a manager in the Enterprise Application Services group, Bob is responsible for the installation and maintenance of all database management systems and database applications, such as Oracle, SQL server, and Banner. He is also responsible for creating procedures for database backup and restoration. Bob joined Stonehill in 2008. Prior to that, Bob spent over 25 years in IT systems and database administration roles at Dunkin Brands, Inc.
Vivian Senatore - Senior Systems Analyst
Vivian is a member of the Enterprise Application Services group and is responsible for supporting several applications including Banner Advancement, Financial Aid, and Student A/R, and Adirondacks Housing and Parking. She also creates data interfaces, custom applications, and complex reports. She earned a master’s degree in education and is also a licensed massage therapist. She enjoys traveling with her husband and son, reading, studying herbalism, tap dancing, and quilting.
Eric Tribou – Manager of Application Architecture
As a manager in the Enterprise Application Services group, Eric is responsible for planning and managing the installation, configuration and maintenance of application infrastructure software for the portal, web application, mobile and reporting platforms. He provides leadership in the design of enterprise application architecture, and provides his technical expertise to evaluate enterprise applications, tools and frameworks and recommends standards.
Enterprise Infrastructure Services Group
Thomas McGrath – Director Enterprise Infrastructure Services
Tom oversees our server and storage infrastructure with a focus on security and reliability. His responsibilities include the provision of core services including email, directory and authentication services, backup and systems management. Tom earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science, a master’s in business administration, and a master’s in computer science, all from Bridgewater State University. He joined Stonehill in 2012.
Christine Collins – Systems Administrator
Christine is a member of the Enterprise Infrastructure Services group and is responsible for maintenance of email, voicemail and Active Directory accounts. She also manages the print and file servers and coordinates server backups. Christine is one of the newest members of the IT team – she joined Stonehill in 2013. Although new to the College, she looks forward to continuing her career in higher education.
Paulo Fontes – Senior Systems Administrator
Paulo is a member of the Enterprise Infrastructure Services group and is responsible for server management, storage management, virtual server environment, and Active Directory maintenance.
He also provides technical support for several systems. Paulo is a recent addition to the Information Technology team – he joined Stonehill in 2015.
Paulo comes to Stonehill with 16 years of IT experience including roles in micro-computer support, systems administration, most recently as an Assistant Director of Systems at Bridgewater State University. Paulo earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Bridgewater State University.
Carl MacDonald – Senior Systems Administrator
Carl is a member of the Enterprise Infrastructure Services group and is responsible for server management and support for the VMware virtual server environment and Exchange email. He also provides technical support for several systems including card access and video surveillance. Carl joined Stonehill in 1996. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Stonehill College. Carl enjoys working outside and is an avid boater.
