Bridgewater State University (BSU) and Stonehill College have arranged for the preferred admission of qualified Stonehill students to the Master of Science in Criminal Justice degree. This advanced degree program can instill or expand the professional competencies necessary to play a vital role in criminal justice research, administration and practice.


  • Waiver of the BSU graduate program admission application fee
  • May delay the beginning of the graduate program for up to one year if accepted in the senior year


  • Anticipated successful completion of Bachelor’s degree from Stonehill in May of the senior year
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 at Stonehill
  • The general GRE for an applicant with an overall GPA between 3.00 – 3.49
  • Submission of all MS in Criminal Justice admission application materials by the published BSU deadline

  2. Resume that demonstrates the potential for leadership and academic achievement as evidence by activities during the period of undergraduate studies
  3. Official Transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate course work
  4. 3 Letters of Recommendation with preference given to academic letters of reference
  5. Personal Statement that outlines goals, purpose, and motivations regarding the reasons for pursuing graduate work in the field of criminal justice
