It may surface at profound moments in life or it may be a defining theme. But students’ ability to step up in support of goals and issues important to them is invaluable.
Stonehill College, like our sister school, the University of Notre Dame was founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross. Our tradition is built around the idea that the world needs people who care passionately and act courageously. Providing a path that allows students to be a light in the world defines us and is the inspiration for our motto, Lux et Spes. Light and Hope.
Exploring leadership can be challenging but is easier to do when you are part of a community that’s always got your back. Here, lifelong bonds form in residence halls, classes, clubs, sports, service projects and sacred spaces. Stonehill is a place where students can be comfortable testing their leadership potential because our entire community collaborates to help them reach their goals and live a life of purpose and integrity.
