Access to Career Advising & Resources

The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. Evening appointments until 7:00pm are available on most Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays only during fall and spring semesters. Please book appointments via Handshake. The office is located in Cushing-Martin Hall, adjacent to the Meehan School of Business and the library. We are on the right side of the front lobby.

We are available to work with you 1:1 to discuss anything such as internships, career exploration, networking and LinkedIn, graduate school, post grad service, etc.

We will gladly connect with you in-person, over the phone, or virtually via Handshake. Sign into Handshake to select your date, time, Advisor with whom you would like to meet, and how you would like to connect. Be sure to leave us your phone number in the notes section if applicable. If you choose to meet virtually, that appointment will be held on the Handshake platform. Sign into your profile for the link which will show as active five minutes prior to your confirmed schedule time.

Having trouble booking an appointment? Please call the office at 508-565-1325 and we will try to accommodate you. You may also utilize our drop-ins and Resume Labs for assistance.

Drop-ins are offered in the fall and spring semesters 1:00pm-3:00pm, Monday through Thursday, and 10:00am-3:00pm on Fridays. Drop-ins are quick conversations (about 5-10 minutes). Need more time? Book an appointment and we will be happy to chat! Resume and cover letter guidance is welcome during our drop-in hours, as well as at all Resume Labs.

Drop-ins are available any day during the semester when classes or exams are held. Drop-ins are not offered during winter, spring, or summer breaks. Please utilize scheduled appointments during breaks.

Resume Labs are held in the Career Development Center Monday through Wednesday, 7pm-9pm, and are led by a trained student Career Ambassador. They operate similarly to drop-ins, but exclusively for resumes and cover letters at any stage of the process - whether you seek guidance on how to begin or are looking for a final review. Come when you can, and stay for as long as you like depending on your personal needs.

Resume Labs are scheduled on most Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays when classes are held. Where Resume Labs are staffed by our student Career Ambassadors, they are not scheduled on breaks or during exam periods. Please see the full list of Resume Labs in the Events section on Handshake. Resume reviews can also be facilitated through appointments and during drop-ins.

We are lining up a year full of alumni panels, workshops, networking events, and our annual Job and Internship Expo. Check the Events tab in Handshake for an ever-growing schedule, registration instructions, and appropriate links...and check back often!

Employers are capitalizing on virtual recruiting and hosting many programs on their own which are ideal exploration and networking opportunities for students of all years and majors. Shop around and take advantage of the convenience of virtual programming!

New and Current students: Please do not submit a request for a new profile.  We build them for you automatically.  Please call our front desk at 508-565-1325 with any questions.

Your profile is already uploaded into Handshake. You may access it at  Select "Stonehill Users" and sign in using your standard Stonehill username and password.

Your profile was not automatically transferred to Handshake, but we welcome you to create one in our new system! Click here and select "Stonehill Alternate Login."  Please fill out your profile completely and keep it public until after your profile is approved.  Profiles marked "private" are not verifiable and we cannot grant you access.  Once approved, you can choose to make your profile private.

If you are already using Handshake as part of your recruitment efforts, please add Stonehill College to your list of schools.  You will then upload any job and internship postings for Stonehill.
