Citing strong academics, mentoring faculty and exceptional career preparation, The Princeton Review has again honored Stonehill College as one of the best colleges in the nation.

The organization’s recently published 2027 Best 392 Colleges highlights the College’s proven formula to prepare students for and connect them with their ideal career placement. Students interviewed for this year’s publication consistently emphasized the strong connections they formed with faculty and alumni, which provided them with a competitive advantage in securing internships and jobs directly related to their chosen major.

In preparation for its newest list, The Princeton Review surveyed 172,000 students from across the country and conducted a data-driven analysis to find those schools consistently recognized for attributes such as academics, financial aid, career preparation and outcomes. A Congregation of Holy Cross college that welcomes students from all walks of life, Stonehill ranked 21st nationally for how religious its students are.

The surveyed Stonehill students consistently noted how impressed they were with their professors, whom they described as prioritizing student success, demonstrating deep passion for their subject matter and embracing their roles as mentors.

Others emphasized Stonehill’s welcoming culture and campus life, saying there are “a lot of programs out of the Office of Student Engagement, so there is always something to do on weekends and weekdays!”

“The students on campus are by far the friendliest, most welcoming, kind and caring people I know,” said one student who was surveyed. Many agreed, describing their peers as “respectful of each other” and as people who “truly [make] Stonehill a great place to be.”

In addition to this overarching achievement, The Princeton Review also included Stonehill on its list of “Best Colleges in the Northeast” and its list of “Green Colleges,” which recognizes schools that have demonstrated a deep commitment to sustainability.
