Biography

Valerie began her training at a young age in RI and summers in NYC with the School of American Ballet. She was a member of the New England Ballet, the Hartford Ballet and Island Moving Company before returning to school to obtain a BA in Theatre at Roger Williams University and a MFA in Dance at Florida State University. Valerie has taught ballet for the Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador, Florida State University, James Madison University and the Boston Ballet School before coming to Stonehill in 2003. In 2008, she started the Dance Company at Stonehill where she is the acting Artistic Director.
