Biography

Associate Professor of Engineering Shahrokh Sani joined the Stonehill College community in 2023. Previously, he was a faculty member and department chair at Azad University, assistant professor at Morehead State University, and associate professor at the State University of New York (SUNY). He is a licensed professional engineer and licensed master electrician. He currently serves as Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) program evaluator for the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC). His research interests include embedded systems, microcontrollers, robotic control systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC), sensor interfacing, the internet of things (IoT), digital signal processing (DSP), data mining, machine learning, and biomedical signal processing.
