Biography

Instructor of Business Administration Peter Clark joined the Stonehill College community in 2007. Since then, he has brought a high-level executive perspective to the courses he teaches in Management Information Systems and Operations & Supply Chain Management. His pedagogy is centered on bridging the gap between classroom theory and corporate reality, specifically by introducing students to non-traditional analytical career paths that challenge standard technology paradigms.

In addition to his faculty role, Clark serves as the Senior Vice President of Information Systems at Jordan’s Furniture, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway founded in 1918. As a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Committee, he is instrumental in shaping growth strategies and enterprise-wide policies. He also leads the Technology Steering Committee, where he directs the organization’s long-term technology vision and focuses on leveraging innovative systems to drive profitability and efficiency.

Clark’s industry expertise provides students with unique insights into the shoppertainment retail model—an area where Jordan's is a recognized pioneer. His team at Jordan's acts as a strategic partner to the business, leading cross-disciplinary process-improvement efforts and engaging stakeholders to develop scalable, innovative solutions that drive profitability.

Before transitioning to technology leadership, Clark spent over a decade in broadcast journalism, retail sales and sales management, a background that informs his focus on communication and stakeholder engagement in the tech sector.
