Biography

John Duggan has served as interim dean of the Leo J. Meehan School of Business since 2023. He began working at Stonehill in 2014 after a decade of private practice. At the time, he served as teaching fellow of business law. In this role, he implemented the Business Administration Department's Writing in the Disciplines course. He was named assistant professor of business law in 2016. He was appointed as the chair of the Business Administration Department in 2017. He was promoted to associate professor of business law in 2020.

John currently maintains a private law practice, Duggan and Marsland, which is based in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. He offers services to clients looking to form small business and pro-bono legal services for non-profit institutions. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts, the North Atlantic Regional Business Law Association and the Academy of Legal Studies in Business. His scholarship has appeared in Business Law Review.
