About the Speaker
Douglas Stark is a museum leader and sports historian. His career has focused on making history more engaging, relevant and accessible to a diverse audience. He and co-author Bob Cvornyek are currently working on a multi-volume project documenting race and sports in Boston and Boston’s Black athletes from the 1850s to the present. This work will serve as the basis of his presentation at Stonehill College.
