Blessing of the Pets
St. Francis of Assisi is the patron of animals and the environment. Christians everywhere celebrate his feast by having their pets blessed in his spirit.
About the Event
Stonehill College community members are invited to bring their pets to campus for a special prayer service and blessing.
All animals must be under the control of their owners at all times (i.e. leashed, crated, carried, caged, harnessed, etc.). Pets are the responsibility of the owner. Please be courteous and bring only well behaved and sociable pets.
Attendees are also invited to bring photos of their animals and have them blessed if the pets are unable to attend for any reason. Humans who are unable to attend can submit pet photos here.
Please RSVP via the link below by Wednesday, September 30. We kindly ask that you include the number of people attending, as well as the number and type of pets that you will be bringing.
This event is sponsored by the Office of Advancement.
