The Call of Matthew

A bronze statue depicting the moment at which Jesus inspires Matthew, a tax collector, to follow him now sits at the entrance of the Leo J. Meehan School of Business. A gift in memory of Paul G. Sgarzi ’73, the statue includes a table and bench that were milled and constructed by Facilities Management from a cedar of Lebanon tree taken down near Donahue Hall.
