A Lightning Bolt

When it comes to impact, it would not be an exaggeration to say that Professor Warren Dahlin is the reason I have the life and career that I have today. What started as a fun class to take my final semester, Professor Dahlin’s Creative Process class hit me like a lightning bolt. I started to recognize so many things about my life, my own creativity and process, and the goals I wanted to focus on. By the end of class, Professor Dahlin had convinced me to give acting and writing a real shot, which has led to a life and career in entertainment.

I’ve been living my actual dream, working consistently on commercial, film and television projects in Los Angeles, all while writing a children’s book and an Off-Broadway show. I will forever be grateful for that class I signed up for and for the encouragement I needed to finally make that leap. That leap was only possible because of my mentor, my friend and the man who ended up marrying my wife and me—Professor Warren Dahlin.
