A Big Part of Success

Louise Hegarty was my calculus professor as a math major in 1972. She inspired me! I graduated and became an actuary. I had a great career, and I always attributed a big part of my success to Professor Hegarty. I often put together stories of my life to share with my grandchildren, and I let them know how much Professor Hegarty meant to me. One of the most influential teachers of my life—she was so special.
