Remembering Stonehill alumni and community members who passed.
Professor of biology, Sandra McAlister, died on November 10, 2023. McAlister joined Stonehill’s faculty in 1967 and worked for 38 years teaching biology and related sciences, preparing students for medical and dental careers. In addition to her role as professor, McAlister also served as the chair of the Biology Department and later as dean of students.
