Stonehill alumni, students, families and staff came together on September 27 for a full slate of Homecoming activities. Beginning with a special Pillar Society Mass and lunch in Donahue Hall, campus buzzed with Skyhawk spirit at “Hawktoberfest” in the Alumni Tailgate Tent, as guests enjoyed music, food trucks, a beer garden, face painting, lawn games and more. The celebration carried into the afternoon at W.B. Mason Stadium, with fans packing the stands to cheer on Stonehill Football in an exciting win against Division I rival Long Island University. The day came to a close with women’s volleyball against the University of New Haven, rounding out the festivities on the Hill.

Honoring the 1995 Stonehill Football Team

During the Homecoming football game against Long Island University, Stonehill honored the 30th anniversary of the 1995 Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) Championship team. Team captains from that season joined officials for the coin toss prior to kickoff, and at halftime, members of the team took the field to celebrate their historic title and lasting impact on Stonehill Football.

With more than 400 alumni and their families in attendance, Homecoming 2025 brought a purple-packed campus to life, filled with college spirit, unforgettable memories and what makes Stonehill special—community.

Thank you for celebrating Homecoming with us!
