In developing the strategic plan, community members relied upon several foundational themes to guide their efforts. These keystones include Academic Excellence and Innovation, Student Success, Community Belonging and Engagement, Strategic Stewardship, and Catholic Intellectual and Moral Ideals. From their work emerged five strategic priorities that will help inform the College's mission through 2030.

Shaping the Future of Nursing Education

Stonehill will launch a suite of nursing programs designed to meet the growing demand for healthcare leaders. These programs will empower students with the knowledge, skills and hands-on clinical experience needed to pursue compassionate careers.

Investing in Student Success

Since 1948, Stonehill has built a strong learning environment where dedicated faculty and staff care deeply about educating the whole person. The College will continue strengthening that foundation over the next several years through expanded health and wellness programs, an enhanced four-year advising model and other initiatives.

Enhancing a Sense of Belonging and Purpose

The College will continue to prioritize a strong culture of belonging by increasing opportunities for mission-centered service, investing in new professional development experiences for faculty and staff, attracting and retaining top talent, and amplifying the power of the Stonehill brand.

Breaking New Ground

Stonehill is located on 387 acres of beautiful land in Easton, Massachusetts. It remains a sacred task to sustainably steward the property. As such, the institution will pursue initiatives centered on developing the west end of campus in support of the rising demand for academic programs and the transition to Division I athletics.

Empowering Students for Professional Success

In strengthening its mission of providing students with the in-demand skills and knowledge needed to succeed, Stonehill will expand its graduate and certificate offerings, ensure all students have access to high-impact learning opportunities, and continue supporting interdisciplinary collaboration.
