A Message from the President
Rev. John Denning, C.S.C., officially announces "Stonehill 2030: Building Together," the strategic plan that will position Stonehill College as a higher education leader.
Dear Members of the Stonehill Community,
Over the past seven decades, the College has grown to offer more than 100 programs, majors and minors; 23 NCAA Division I teams and 49 intramural and club sports; and most importantly, a supportive educational environment for students to discover their passion and purpose.
Because of all of you, Stonehill College is stronger than ever before.
The aim of this five-year strategic plan, which will carry us into the year 2030, is to build on what we have accomplished. Together, we have crafted a blueprint designed to meet the evolving needs of our students, adapt to the changes and challenges of the global economy, and position the College as a leader in higher education for years to come.
Anchored by our storied history and in fulfilment of our mission, this plan outlines new programs and initiatives that address the needs and questions of our time while repositioning Stonehill College to become a top regional university in the Northeast.
As the founder of the Congregation of Holy Cross, Blessed Basil Moreau, C.S.C., said, “Union gives rise to strength.” Only in building together will this bright future come to fruition. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each member of our community who contributed their time and expertise to this plan — and to everyone for helping realize our shared goals over the next five years.
