Welcome Back, Alumni! Reunion 2023

Hundreds of alumni and their families returned to campus last weekend to celebrate their class reunions.

Pillar Society Induction and Dinner

On Friday, alumni reunited for the Pillar Society Ceremony and Dinner. President John Denning, C.S.C. inducted members from the Class of 1973 into the College's 50-year club.

We came to Stonehill all those years ago because we wanted to be the people making things happen in this world—even if we didn't quite know what those things would be. What we found here was a community. This community provided us with the intellectual, emotional and spiritual support to go out into an uncertain world and become those people.

Alumni celebrating milestone Reunions wore buttons featuring their ACRES yearbook photos.

Reunion Reception

Classes of 1978, 1983, 1988 and 1993 gathered in the Meehan School of Business for their class receptions.

Silver Anniversary

The Class of 1998 celebrated its 25th anniversary reception in Donahue Hall.

Reunion Mixers

The Classes of 2003, 2008, 2013 and 2018 enjoy their Reunion Mixers at Alumni Hall and The Hill.

Saturday Activities

Saturday was filled with activities from Coffee with the President and Shovel Collection tours to a WSHL Radio Takeover and a family friendly barbecue (despite the rain!). Classmates gathered at special memorial Masses and prayer services to remember and honor deceased classmates and members of the Congregation of Holy Cross.

Remembering Linsey Malia ’18

In memory of Linsey Malia ’18, members of the Class of 2018 joined Fr. John Denning, C.S.C., who blessed a memorial bench in her honor. Linsey died in 2017 in a boating accident in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she was studying for the semester. The bench—which was part of the Class of 2018 Senior Class Gift, along with the Linsey Malia ’18 Memorial Scholarship—is located in front of the Sally Blair Ames Sports Complex, a special location to Linsey, who contributed to campus in many ways and enjoyed being Ace the Skyhawk at various sporting events.

Reunion Celebration

The highlight of Reunion is the gala reception on Saturday evening.
