Due to the complexities related to COVID-19 health and safety concerns, we are requiring that all graduates register by Friday, July 10, to confirm their plans to attend and include the names of their guests (maximum 2). Following guidelines established in response to the pandemic, graduates' guests will be seated together but six feet apart from other guests.
Because seating will be grouped in pairs for each graduate's guests and each pair will be situated six feet from other seating, it is not possible to accommodate requests for extra tickets.
The ceremony begins promptly at 1 p.m. and guests start arriving at 11 a.m.
Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Accommodations will be provided for guests with physical disabilities.
There will be a designated area for guests with physical disabilities.
Accessible parking will be available in the Duffy Academic Center parking lot. Please have the handicap decal visible in your car. This lot will also serve as a drop off area. For safety, we do not allow vehicles to drop off guests in the roadway.
Stonehill College campus police will direct all guests to the parking locations on campus. Due to the large volume of vehicles expected on campus it is strongly encouraged to car pool with family members if possible.
The ceremony usually takes about 90 minutes. If you are planning any post Commencement celebrations, such as an off campus luncheon or party, please allow additional time to exit the campus. There will be no food provided on campus and off-campus food deliveries are not allowed due to traffic congestion. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on campus.
Each graduate will be professionally photographed by Commencement Photos Inc. as he/she receives their diploma. Commencement Photos Inc. (phone – 978-851-5924) will be sending you information about placing orders.
- The Commencement ceremony will be recorded by Stonehill College and DVDs can be ordered through Alumni Affairs at 508-565-1343.
Pets are not allowed. Only Certified Service Animals with their owners are permitted. The service animal must wear its credentials.
