Any outside group, organization, vendor, or contractor (the “Organization/Vendor”) must meet the requirements set forth below if its employees, affiliates, or volunteers enter the College’s residence halls for any purpose OR operates on the campus a camp, clinic, or program that provides services or instruction to minor children.
The Organization/Vendor must agree to:
- Conduct a criminal background check on each employee, affiliate, or volunteer PRIOR TO allowing the individual onto the Stonehill College campus.
- Include as part of the background check: (1) conviction of a felony involving violence, assault, sexual misconduct, or a firearm; (2) conviction of a serious drug or alcohol related felony or multiple less serious such felonies.
- Defend, indemnify and hold harmless Stonehill College, its employees, agents, affiliates, directors, officers, and trustees from and against any claims, actions or losses related to the Organization/Vendor's failure to complete a criminal background check as described above.
