Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry offers a vibrant combination of Liturgical Life Offerings, Retreat Life Programs, Service Opportunities, Sacramental Initiation and Faith Formation. As students worship God, serve the common good and reflect on the action of God in the world, they attend to the deepest and most authentic part of themselves.

Sacramental Life

To help foster spiritual growth in our students, faculty, and staff, Campus Ministry offers Mass every day and three times on Sunday. These celebrations of our faith allow for the community to gather and worship together. Students fully participate in our Masses on campus by serving as lectors, altar servers, Eucharistic ministers, hospitality ministers, and cantors and choir members. For those seeking to become Catholic or to complete their initiation into the Catholic Church, the Office of Campus Ministry can help either by directing you to a parish RCIA program or by helping you enroll in our yearly confirmation class.

Spiritual Life

The members of the Campus Ministry team serve as spiritual mentors to our students, offering spiritual direction and companionship to our students in their journey of faith. In addition to the Campus Ministers, the Moreau Student Ministers are a dedicated group of student spiritual leaders. They live in residence among their peers offering a caring and compassionate ear. They also coordinate spiritual programming that seeks to make discussing faith an open and comfortable topic for everyone who chooses to participate.

Into the Streets Community Service Program

Into the Streets (ITS) is a student-led program that encourages students to go "into the streets" of our local community to participate in meaningful service experiences which challenge and teach them to be agents of social change committed to the creation of a just and compassionate world. Faculty often participate in our Community Engagement Day, when all first-year students go into the community to do service.

The H.O.P.E. Service Immersion Program

H.O.P.E. [Honoring our neighbor, Organizing for Justice, Practicing Peace, Encountering God] is Campus Ministry's Service Immersion Program. Each year, students travel to several different international and domestic sites to engage in service, learn about local issues, & reflect on their own role creating a more just world. Employee leaders accompany each trip; faculty are encouraged to inquire about participating.

The office of Campus Ministry offers a variety of retreats for students of all backgrounds. These are opportunities to reconnect with yourself, others, and God. Follow the link below for more information.
