Do you ever need to edit information in a PDF, but don’t have the original document to make the edits? With Microsoft Word 2013 for Windows, you have the power convert a PDF into an editable Word document.
Follow the instructions to Edit PDF content in Word to keep the original formatting of the PDF when you convert it to Word. If the PDF is mostly text, there should not be any major formatting changes when you make the conversion. Please review Why does my PDF look different in Word? to learn about the document elements that do not convert well.
Unfortunately, this functionality is not yet available in Word 2016 for Mac. You can still take advantage of these features in Word 2013 on one of the many Windows computers in our classrooms and labs. To find a Windows computer near you, please check the Classrooms and Lab Technologies page.
