Any outside group, organization, vendor, or contractor (the “Organization/Vendor”) must meet the requirements set forth below if its employees, affiliates, or volunteers enter the College’s residence halls for any purpose OR operates on the campus a camp, clinic, or program that provides services or instruction to minor children.


The Organization/Vendor must agree to:

  1. Conduct a criminal background check on each employee, affiliate, or volunteer PRIOR TO allowing the individual onto the Stonehill College campus.
  2. Include as part of the background check: (1) conviction of a felony involving violence, assault, sexual misconduct, or a firearm; (2) conviction of a serious drug or alcohol related felony or multiple less serious such felonies.
  3. Defend, indemnify and hold harmless Stonehill College, its employees, agents, affiliates, directors, officers, and trustees from and against any claims, actions or losses related to the Organization/Vendor's failure to complete a criminal background check as described above.
