Designs for Diversity and Inclusion Contest
Can you paint? Write a song? Maybe sing or dance? If the answer is "yes" or if you have any other creative outlet, the Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity, and Social Justice (CSRESJ) invites you to join our creative contest: Designs for Diversity and Inclusion!
What does diversity mean to you, and/or why is the study for race, ethnicity, and social justice essential?
We are asking you to reflect on what diversity means to you and submit a 5-7 minute video, a photo, or any other form of artistic expression to the CSRESJ website. We will be accepting submissions until April 10, 2022.
The winner will be announced at a reception at the end of the semester, where the first place winner will receive $200, second place will receive $100, and third place will receive $50. Until then, be creative, express yourself and let your mind have fun.
So, we leave you with the prompt: what does diversity mean to you, and/or why is the study for race, ethnicity, and social justice essential?
