Visiting the Office

Please note: The Kruse Center will be closed for winter break December 9, 2020 through January 22, 2021. However, our team is available virtually and ready to connect! Please utilize our appointments for assistance. You may call 508-565-1325 or email if you run into any trouble.

The office is open 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, to assist you with any questions that might come up. Need us? Pop in and we will be glad to assist you by directing you to virtual appointments, programs, and resources. Thank you for consistently practicing social distancing and wearing masks while you are in the Kruse Center.

The office is located in Cushing-Martin Hall, adjacent to the Chapel and the library. We are on the right side of the front lobby.

There may be occasions where we need to close the office for a short time. Please bear with us if the office is closed momentarily as our team is balancing family care, working remotely, working in-office, and teaching on campus.


We are still available to work with you 1:1 to discuss anything such as internships, career exploration, networking and LinkedIn, graduate school, post grad service, etc. We will gladly connect with you over the phone or Zoom. Sign into Handshake to select your date, time, choice of phone or Zoom, and even which Advisor with whom you would like to meet. Be sure to leave us your phone number in the notes section if applicable. You will receive an email containing the appropriate Zoom link once your appointment request has been approved.

In-person appointments will be scheduled on a very rare basis and only for extenuating circumstances. You may request one by calling the front desk at 508-565-1325, emailing, or by contacting a Career Advisor directly. In-person appointments, when granted, will take place at one of two prepared stations in the back of the suite. No appointments will take place in an Advisor's office due to space restrictions.

Drop-ins will be facilitated via Zoom 1:00pm-3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Drop-ins are quick conversations (about 5-10 minutes). Need more time? Book an appointment and we will be happy to chat! Resume reviews should be done through Resume Labs, as drop-ins are simply too quick to provide effective feedback on such detailed documents.

Resume Labs

Resume Labs are offered daily via Zoom, and are led by a Career Center staff member and/or a trained student Career Ambassador. Attending a virtual Lab is the easiest way to get instant instruction and feedback on your resume and cover letter.

Resume Labs will operate similar to virtual drop-ins, but specifically for resumes and cover letters. You will first enter the Zoom waiting room. A team member will let you in when it is your turn and provide some instruction on how to build or improve your documents. If you have a draft of a resume already, be prepared to remotely share your desktop so we can see it. Then, the team member will put you back in the waiting room to continue working on your own, occasionally checking in on you to answer any questions and providing more instruction when needed. You may stay as long as you wish, and come and go as you please.

While you might experience varied wait times based on student attendance, this is the best way to provide safe and personalized guidance to every student. We will do our best to keep wait times to a minimum and keep you moving forward.

Suit-A-Skyhawk Closets

Our free interview attire borrowing closet remains open and accessible, but with a limited inventory this semester. If you have an outfit that will work for virtual interviews, please bring it with you to campus.

Our fitting room is closed as you will not be able to try anything on due to state regulations. Stop by 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, and a Career Advisor will assist you in identifying an outfit that should work for you.

Students will be allowed to sign out one outfit only, and may use it for the semester. Items must be returned before students go home for Thanksgiving and winter break. Clothing will not be recirculated until it has been professionally dry cleaned.


New and Current students: Please do not submit a request for a new profile.  We build them for you automatically.  Please call our front desk at 508-565-1325 with any questions. 

Your profile is already uploaded into Handshake. You may access it at  Select "Stonehill Users" and sign in using your standard Stonehill username and password.

Your profile was not automatically transferred to Handshake, but we welcome you to create one in our new system! Click here and select "Stonehill Alternate Login."  Please fill out your profile completely and keep it public until after your profile is approved.  Profiles marked "private" are not verifiable and we cannot grant you access.  Once approved, you can choose to make your profile private. 

If you are already using Handshake as part of your recruitment efforts, please add Stonehill College to your list of schools.  You will then upload any job and internship postings for Stonehill. If you are not already using Handshake, please follow this link to request an employer account.  You will then be able to upload any job and internship postings so our students can access them and apply.

Employers can use the link above to request an employer profile in Handshake and upload all job and internship opportunities they wish to their own profile. Then, they select schools at which these postings will be made available. Opportunities posted in the Stonehill database are accessible only to members of the Stonehill community.
