Exceptionally strong students who have distinguished themselves in their academics, extracurricular activities, and personal lives are strongly encouraged to apply for these prestigious awards.  Craig Kelley, Associate Provost for Academic Achievement, and Kris Silva, Prestigious Awards Advisor are available to assist students in the identification and pursuit of awards for which they would be competitive applicants.

Nationally prestigious and competitive fellowships, scholarships and awards are available to undergraduates of nearly all majors and class years. Some of these prestigious awards provide funding for talented and exceptional students to conduct intensive research in their major fields of study while others provide stipends to students while they gain hands-on professional experience in the field they wish to pursue as a future career.

Several programs provide financial assistance to help defray the costs associated with an undergraduate education. All prestigious awards have different criteria for eligibility. Keep in mind that application deadlines may fall well in advance of the start dates of the awards, so begin your search and the application process early!

Nationally prestigious and competitive fellowships, scholarships and awards are available to seniors and recent alumni that help defray costs associated with higher education as well as provide stipends for graduate research. Other prestigious awards provide financial assistance to recent graduates who wish to conduct an individual research project, travel internationally, or gain experience in their field of interest.

Keep in mind that application deadlines may fall well in advance of the start of the award, so be sure to start your application process early. If applying, contact the Associate Provost for Academic Achievement for assistance in strengthening your candidacy.
