Office of the President Header

Dear Colleagues,

Last week, you received information from the Office of Human Resources regarding on-boarding testing, which will start on August 6 and run through August 17 on-campus, and asymptomatic surveillance testing, which will start the week of August 24.

As part of the testing process, our partners at the Broad Institute have a permission form which needs to be signed before you start testing. This should be signed electronically prior to your first visit to the testing center to avoid delays. You can access it via the College website.

In addition to our testing process, as part of our Returning to Campus plan all faculty, staff, and students are required to complete COVID-19 safety training.

The employee training consists of a short video containing information about COVID-19 and the safety protocols in place on campus. Employees should view this video and complete the accompanying JotForm by August 15, 2020. Additional training will be provided as necessary.

You can learn more about our testing process and see our Testing Center hours of operation in the College's employee on-boarding and surveillance testing guidelines.

If you are planning to visit the Testing Center during hours where students are also able to be tested, we ask that you complete our online speed-pass form at least 30 minutes before arrival. Please note that some hours may be busier than others, but the Testing Center staff will do their best to move people through the Center as they arrive.

Additionally, we know that many of you may be anxious or just curious about the testing process, especially if you have heard about some of the early testing procedures for COVID-19. We want to assure you that the test we are using is very simple, painless, and effective. To get a sense of the process, we encourage you to view a short two-minute video online.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us. While we certainly wish we were going to get to see you all for a different reason, we still can’t wait to meet you and we are looking forward to having you on campus!

Sincerely,

Stonehill College Testing Center Co-Directors
