Three Stonehill graduates honored by inclusion in book on best emerging poets in the state

Three Stonehill College students are featured in a new book titled “Massachusetts’s Best Emerging Poets.”

 English majors Brittany Frederick ’16, Shalen Lowell ’14 and Ashley Robinson ’14 are among the 120 selected poets, whose topics include, according to the publisher, love and heartbreak; family and friendship; and the inherent beauty of nature. The anthology is a described as a “compelling introduction to the great wordsmiths of tomorrow.”

Frederick is currently pursuing her doctorate in sociology at Boston University, Lowell is a marketing associate with TechTarget and Robinson is the communications coordinator at Newton Montessori School.
