May 17, 2017

Stonehill College once again earned a place in Forbes magazine’s list of America’s Best Value Colleges.

Forbes analysts looked at tuition costs, school quality, graduation success rates and post-grad earnings and picked Stonehill as one of 300 schools in the country that are doing the best on those fronts.

“The question we begin with is not ‘what’s the “best school?”’ but whether a college will deliver a meaningful return on investment,” writes Caroline Howard of Forbes. “The Forbes 2017 Best Value College ranking indexes 300 schools that deliver the best bang for the tuition buck based on tuition costs, school quality, post-grad earnings, student debt and graduation success.”

One of the leading business publications in the country, with nearly 1 million subscribers, Forbes research has also led it to single out Stonehill on lists that include:

  • Top Colleges
  • Best Private Colleges
  • Best Liberal Arts Universities
  • Best in the Northeast
  • Most Grateful Grads

Analysts for the magazine also laud Stonehill as being among the best at helping its students manage college loans, noting that the College has the 13th lowest student loan default rate in the country.
