UNITED AGAINST HATE: Students, faculty, staff, and alumni recently spent three hours in a packed Martin Instituted Auditorium, uniting against hate speech and confronting tough issues related to social justice. Learn more here.
ALUMNI DAY: Three hundred alumni and their families visited campus recently for an open science lab hosted by faculty for children of alums, a winter carnival with children’s activities including a Barn Babies petting zoo, a chili cook-off, craft beer tasting, basketball games, and more. LESS TRASH: Last semester, use of disposable to go containers on campus dropped by 77 percent thanks to the popularity of Green 2GO reusable containers. With this change, we reduced trash by more than 10 tons over the previous semester and made a procurement savings of $24,000. Visit here for more information.
