Visiting campus is the best way to understand what Stonehill is all about, but it’s not always easy for international students. If you are unable to visit Stonehill, reach out to the Admission Office and inquire about setting up a virtual meeting with an Admission Counselor. Stonehill Admission representatives also travel to several regions around the world, so you may be able to meet us at an event at your high school, city, or province.

Language Skills Help Ensure Success
International first-year and transfer applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) scores as part of their application for admission.
The recommended TOEFL score is 80 on the internet-based exam. The recommended IELTS score is 6.5. TOEFL/IELTS results will be waived for students who score 600 or higher on the Evidence Based Reading & Writing section of the SAT, or 25 or higher on the English and Reading sections of the ACT.
While U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents whose native language is not English are not required to submit the TOEFL or IELTS, applicants are welcome to do so to better demonstrate their English proficiency.
