Biography 

Professor Christine McMahon oversees the placement of pre-practicum and practicum education students. She also supervises them during their practicum semester. Her professional interests include collaborating with pre-service teachers and promoting science education across all grade levels. 

She has over two decades of experience in her field, having taught elementary and secondary science methods courses at the college level. Prior to joining Stonehill’s faculty, she worked as a high school biology teacher, science department chair and instructional coach.  

McMahon received a bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College. She later pursued an M.Ed. at Cambridge College.
