Guest Speaker: Chuck Hogan, bestselling author of "The Town"
Chuck Hogan is a New York Times bestselling novelist, screenwriter and television producer. His best-known novel "The Town" was awarded the Hammett Prize for "literary excellence in the field of crime writing," and was adapted into the hit feature film directed by Ben Affleck, starring Affleck, Jeremy Renner, Rebecca Hall and Jon Hamm. With Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro, he was the co-creator and executive producer of "The Strain" on FX Networks, as well as co-author of the bestselling novel trilogy. His feature adaptation of "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" starred John Krasinski and James Badge Dale. His non-fiction has appeared in The New York Times, Esquire, and ESPN The Magazine, and his short fiction has twice been anthologized in "The Best American Mystery Stories". Lunch will be served.
