The Salameno Lecture Series was established to bring reputable historians to campus as guest speakers. The series is named after former trustees Lawrence and Theresa Salameno. In 2006, the couple created the Lawrence and Theresa Salameno Chair in History, the College’s first endowed chair.

About This Year's Speaker: Claudia Goldin is the Henry Lee Professor of Economics, and a renowned economist and economic historian, at Harvard University. Drawing on decades of her own groundbreaking research, she will examine the diverse experiences of college-educated women from the 1900s to today.
