Sue is the Associate Director of the MacPhaidin Library and you can find her in the office just behind the Circulation Desk. Sue is responsible for maintaining service during the library’s scheduled hours and assuring that the Stonehill community has access to the library and materials. This would include the use of group study rooms, items for course reserve, space for events, public printing and quiet study spaces. Sue has coordinated some of the recent building projects that have brought more collaborative space to the library.

Sue holds a BA in Math from Westfield State College and has worked in elementary school, public and academic libraries. She came to Cushing-Martin Library as Periodicals Assistant in 1982 and became the Circulation Supervisor in 1990. One of her most rewarding experiences was the opportunity to participate in the design for the interior spaces of the MacPhaidin Library which opened in 1998.

When away from the college Sue enjoys gardening, sewing, cats, knitting, reading and visiting vineyards in various appellations of the U.S. and Canada. Raised on a farm in rural New Hampshire, she enjoys walking through the fields and wooded areas of our beautiful campus.
