Master of Arts in Heritage Studies at Regis College

Regis College and Stonehill College have arranged for the preferred admission of qualified Stonehill students each year to the Master of Arts in Heritage Studies Program at Regis College. The program provides three degree/certificate options: MA, CAG, and Museum Studies Certificate (alone or with the MA). The program is also a tool for skill sharpening and experience building in order to either gain or enhance professional employment in a variety of areas including museums and archives, heritage tourism and historic site interpretation.


  • Application fee waived
  • GRE/MAT waived
  • Preferred admission without the competition of the rest of the applicant pool
  • Potential to complete the master’s degree in one year with advanced standing status (Two courses taken from the accepted Stonehill College transfer-eligible courses list and passed with a grade of B or higher will transfer into the Heritage Studies Program as two graduate courses)
  • Students who are admitted to the Heritage Studies Program in their senior year under the terms of this agreement may delay beginning the program for up to five years


  • Anticipated successful completion of a bachelor’s degree from Stonehill in May of senior year
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 at Stonehill
  • Completion of two undergraduate heritage studies courses
  • Submission of all application materials by the Regis College deadline
