DeOliveira continues to share her academic and professional experience with Stonehill's psychology students. Since 2005, she has served as an adjunct professor at Stonehill, teaching courses such as General Psychology and Theories of Learning. She also has taught Psychology and Learning, Educational Psychology, Theories of Personality, Human Behavior and Perspective, and Psychology of Adulthood at Bridgewater State College, Roger Williams University, and Lasell College.

The recipient of the Florence Blair Scholarship at American International College and a Psi Chi charter member, DeOliveira completed a practicum at the Curtis Blake Center in Springfield, MA and was a residential counselor/special education assistant at St. Vincent's Home in Fall, River, MA. Her current research interest is in the area of music, spatial abilities, and intelligence.
