Shane was born in Missouri, but spent most of his childhood in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institue of Chicago and his Master of Fine Arts from Cornell University. Shane is an active studio artist, exhibiting his work as well as attending Artist-in-Residence programs and lectures. Shane has been at Stonehill since 1997.
