Dr. Myers has been a faculty member in the department of Communication at Stonehill College since 2004. Prior to this position she served as Scholar-in-Residence at Emerson College’s department of Political and Organizational Communication from 2002-2004.

Research Interests:
Dr. Myers' research interests culminate in the areas of Women, Communication, and the Law. As a result of her Fulbright Fellowship to China in Summer 2006 she has been investigating the intended and unintended consequences of China's One Child Policy. Past research includes Communication in Courtroom Contexts, particularly the restraining order courtroom where survivors of domestic assault seek court relief and legal protection.
