Mr. Gariepy has been a full-time Associate Professor of Business Administration at Stonehill College since 2000, following a semester as an Adjunct Professor. During this time, in addition to teaching and advising responsibilities, he has been the Director of the Computer Information Systems minor program. He has actively served on several faculty committees to support the continuing improvement of the curriculum and the College.

Since joining Stonehill, Mr. Gariepy has taught the following Business Administration courses:

  • Business Data Communications and Applications
  • Decision Support Systems
  • Introduction to Operations Management

Having a business career that has spanned over 30 years in business development and operation, Mr. Gariepy has held Executive and Consulting positions with General Electric and Digital Equipment Corporations. During these positions he completed additional educational courses in management, information systems, sales, sales training and financial management. He has received numerous professional awards for his contributions to electronic marketing, consulting and information services management.

Most recently, Mr. Gariepy was co-founder and chief technology officer of CollegeLink.com, a provider of electronic college application and admissions systems. During this time, he also provided strategy, direction and operation of all business operations. (CollegeLink.com established the first world-wide internet based college application system.)

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Mr. Gariepy maintains a limited consulting practice supporting small to medium sized businesses and non-profit organizations in the areas of technology development, business operations and network security.
