On February 7th, Stonehill will host the premiere screening of a new film called "Green Fire," the first full-length, high-def documentary film ever made about legendary conservationist Aldo Leopold. The film explores Leopold’s life in the early part of the 20th century and the many ways his land ethic idea continues to be applied all over the world today. The film screening will take place in the Martin Institute at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Stonehill professors.…
More than 200 student volunteers will play a major role in the success of the Special Olympics Massachusetts South Section Basketball Assessment Tournament on campus this weekend. Seven hundred Special Olympians will compete on 60 teams at Stonehill and at Bridgewater-Raynham High School. Over the past decade, the College has been hosting Special Olympic events on campus.…
Stonehill has announced its Dean's List for the Fall 2011 semester and a total of 732 students have earned the honor. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.…
Football stand-out Stephan Neville ’12 signed a one-year contract with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League last week. The defensive back/return specialist set an NCAA Division II record for career kickoff returns for touchdowns and tied the NCAA All-Division record for career kick return touchdowns during his Skyhawk career. …
