During my internship, I witnessed firsthand the organizational issues that occur daily in a multinational corporation. I was one of nine people who help run the Human Resources Department at Estee Lauder. It's a team that oversees 4,500 employees. The biggest challenge we faced is the centralization of the human resources function within a highly decentralized company. My internship at Estée Lauder helped finalize my career decision. It was rewarding to be part of a team, knowing I was making an impact and seeing my work being used by the company. Everyone in my department was welcoming and eager to help me learn. I would not trade my experience for anything.
