Philanthropy Week

Purple bows were everywhere on campus recently. At the Student Financial Services Office, there were over 200 bows, each representing a scholarship created by a benefactor. Bows were also at the Shields Science Center, W. B. Mason Stadium, the Sports Complex, and the MacPhaidin Library, all of which came into existence thanks to the generosity of alumni and friends. Linked to National Philanthropy Day, the bows mapped out the ways philanthropy has shaped our campus for the better.
