The Nonprofit Starter Guide
Facilitated by: Georgia Antonopoulos, Director of the Center for Nonprofit Management at Stonehill College
At the Center, we get many questions on how and when to start a nonprofit. If you're considering forming a nonprofit, or are in the early stages of establishing your organization, this session may be for you.
In this workshop, you will learn how to:
-
Assess whether nonprofit incorporation is the right path for your endeavor
-
Understand the responsibilities you will take on if you pursue this option
-
Identify the steps you'll need to take if you decide to move forward
-
Familiarize yourself with the forms and annual filings that you will encounter
-
Examine the board and resource development challenges that you will face
All session participants will be invited to share their particular concerns for group feedback in an interactive and informative workshop setting!
