Cristela Alonzo, who has appeared on Conan, NBC's "Last Comic Standing", and Showtime's "Legally Brown," will perform 9:00 p.m. in The Hill this Saturday night, October 20.
Alonzo started doing stand up in Dallas, TX. She moved to Los Angeles in 2005 and got her first break in 2006 when she was hired to write for a Comedy Central show. In 2007, she was featured on Comedy Central's "Live At Gotham."
Aside from stand-up, Cristela has won awards for short films she's written, including Best Film at the Boston Comedy Festival for a musical she wrote ("TGIF: The Musical") and had one of her sketches named Latina.com's "Five Funniest Sketches Of The Decade."
